Supplier Management Policy

Quality Management Standards

Sitronix implements the ISO 9001 quality management system, and conducts quarterly evaluations and annual audits of suppliers in accordance with the company’s “supplier management procedures”.

New suppliers: evaluate new suppliers on delivery time, quality, cost, process capability and occupational safety system. New domestic and foreign suppliers that are determined to be approved are required to implement quality systems, occupational safety systems, and on-site audits, which include items such as green products, environmental safety, and social responsibility. Those whose audit results do not meet the standard must complete all audit deficiencies corrections and improvements within three months, and the evaluation team will perform quality system and on-site audits again; if they are still unqualified after re-verification, their new supplier evaluation qualifications will be cancelled.

Qualified suppliers: The qualified suppliers are evaluated on delivery date, quality, cost, and engineering services every quarter. The score will affect the number of contracts issued. If the supplier’s evaluation score does not meet the standard, the evaluation team shall be arranged to conduct a new quality system and on-site audit. Suppliers who are assessed as unqualified must complete all audit deficiencies to correct and improve within 3 months, and arrange for an evaluation team to perform quality system and on-site audits again. If a qualified supplier uses prohibited substances, it will be stopped.

Environmental protection

Environmental Restricted Substances Control: In accordance with national laws and customer requirements, Siltron Group has compiled chemical substances that are harmful to the ecology, the environment, and the human body. The company has established “Environmentally Restricted Substances Management Procedures”, which stipulates that the raw materials and packaging materials used by suppliers must fully comply with EU RoHS (Directive 2011/65/EU)/REACH SVHC/Packaging Material Waste (Directive 94/ 62/EC) Directives/halogen-free directives and customers’ demand for green environmental protection. At the same time, we must cooperate with the company to sign the [Supplier’s Non-Use of Environmentally Hazardous Substances Declaration] and provide the third notary unit test report, and work together to enhance corporate social responsibility.

Suppliers need to pass the ISO 14001 assessment. If there is no certification, they need to have a plan to complete the certification.

Occupational safety and health and labor human rights protection

Sitronix implements the ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system. Suppliers need to pass the ISO 45001 assessment, or comply with relevant laws and regulations such as occupational safety and health, labor laws and regulations, and labor human rights regulations such as not to employ child labor.
