Sitronix and Compal Partners in Power Managing Chips Market |

Compal Electronics and Sitronix announced the establishment of a joint-ventured analog IC design company, Infinno Technology Corporation, on December 30th. Ray Chen who will be the Chairman of Infinno, Vincent Mao, the Chairman of Sitronix and Anson Chien, the General Manager of Infinno took part in the opening event.
“In the accelerating Tablet PC market, one of the most crucial elements to success is the power saving capability which is the core competency of Infinno Technology and the key focus of Compal’s tablet PC strategy. As the global shipment of ablet PC is expected to reach 50 to 60 million units, we will devote our upmost resources to this highly potential market.” said Ray Chen, the General Manager of Compal
Vincent Mao, the CEO of Sitronix stated, “Sitronix started from ground zero and has been devoting ourselves in the power managing chip for over 2 years. We are proud of our success that we can have product in production shortly after the first year. Through this partnership with Compal, we believe we could synergize the resources effectively by shifting the power managing products to Infinno Technology.”
Anson Chien, the General Manager of Infinno Technology further explained, “Infinno Technology has made it to the top 5 power managing suppliers with shipping volume up to 800 thousand units on a monthly basis. Moving forward, we will work with world class clients such as Delta Electronics and Compal Electronics to integrate our power managing IC into their products and create more dynamics and possibilities.” |
